Here’s what inquiring minds usually want to know about pitchHazel.

pitchHazl is a design and marketing collective that specializes in building and managing an elite digital brand presence for women-owned businesses serving women and femmes. 

We work directly with you (the CEO) to build out your genius -- making sure your brand's home, message, and audience is everything you need and NOTHING that you don't.

pitchHazel is open Monday-Friday from 10 am - 3 pm. We are closed on weekends and major US holidays. We answer emails in the order they are received within 48-72 operational ours (prioritizing active clients).  Clients are encouraged to check their dashboard for deliverables and updates before reaching out via email.

Are you ready to  develop a plan for how your website, branding, or marketing should work. Yes? Then you are ready for a consultation. A consultation will help you envision your project’s final design and feel, which will make it easier for us to execute on your vision.

Our consultation is the first powerful tool you'll receive during your time with pitchHazel. You will leave with valuable information and insight whether you decide to continue working with pitchHazel or explore other options.

After filling out the form, prospective clients are prompted to pay our current consultation rate.  You will not be charged UNTIL pitchHazel agrees to consult you for that project.

Our consultation costs because:

  1. it reserves our time

  2. stamps our consultation time as a service (not a just discovery call)

  3. You get what you pay for. (Se also: Who should book a consultation?)

Should you continue to work with us after the consultation, your consultation fee will be refunded in the form of a deduction from your quoted project price. The consultation fee is non-refundable in all other outcomes.

What is free?

In order to give CEOs the best service, we offer an extensive intake form/client application in lieu of a “free consultation”. The purpose of this form is to painlessly collect information from you at the potential client level that will help us determine if we are a good fit. You'll have time to think about the answers to your questions instead of organizing your thoughts on the spot.

We want the best, most relaxed responses to questions about our your business, what they are trying to achieve and how they would like us to help.

Once quoted, your single project total is split into two invoices.

 

A 50% deposit is required to accept the final contract and secure a spot on our active project list. You will then make the final payment on the start date of the project. Your project will not start or progress until each invoice is paid in full on their respective due dates. 

 

* All deposits, payments, site bookings, and purchases are non-refundable.

** Clients’ initial consultation fee refund is reflected in their project total.

If for any reason you would like to discontinue working with us after the initial consultation and before the first deposit, pitchHazel will not charge a cancellation fee.

 

If you have paid a deposit/started work pitchHazel will retain the 50% deposit in lieu of collecting a cancellation fee. 

 

Once you have received completed work (ie: files, operational websites, active marketing campaigns, etc.), you are no longer eligible for cancellation.

Your project will begin on the the date listed in the contract and tentatively end on an agreed upon date based on the scope of work.

 

Our minimum turnaround time is 4-6 weeks and our maximum is 12 weeks.

 

Clients who require maintenance and continuous work/consulting are invited to retain our services in 3 month increments.

All images, videos and copy should be provided by the client. We will provide a list of copy and image requirements suggestions. 

 

Exceptions:

  1. You have added copywriting to your package.
  2. You have added logo design to your package.

 

We recommend that all copy, images, and, previous branding etc. be submitted to us 1-2 weeks before your start date. 

 

Failure to deliver all material at least 3 days before your start date will result in significant project delays or a non-refundable project termination.

pitchHazel builds with WordPress for maximum customization capability. 

Oh, yes! Stylish and brag-worthy design is the icing on your website's cake. First and foremost, we build custom solutions that help you make money online without limitations. 

 

Really think about what you want your website to do for your business and we will deliver a one-of-a-kind solution for your moneymaking needs.

pitchHazel provides support for all deliverables up to 14 calendar days after the project ends. This support covers functional and stylistic errors made or missed on our end.

 

This support does not cover changes of heart or reversal of any client error.

 

For web maintenance or changes over one hour or outside of the 14 day support period a minimum fee of $350 will be charged upon booking.

If you a decide to retain our services, you will receive ongoing maintenance in accordance with the details outlined in our contract.

Nope! Through our work, we have come across many great web hosts, though. We will be happy to help you find a suitable one before your project begins.

You absolutely need a domain name. Please secure one (the one associated with the build) as soon as possible and no later than 3 days before the commencement of your project.

 

Exception:

  1. If pitchHazel is helping you com up with a name, you can purchase a domain name after your business name is chosen.
